"Regarding Friday's Venter: Yes, Clinton lied about Monica, but nobody died. Bush and Cheney lied about WMDs in Iraq, and over 4,000 U.S. soldiers have died there. Which do you think is worse?"
"Mr. Bite-ler, you have no say when Herman Cain's campaign is over. Only Herman Cain can say when his campaign is over. As for whether he lied or not, you cannot possibly know that. You are a liberal, and liberals do not make good liars. Ever heard of Bill Clinton?"
"It seems that Jon Beydler, with his one-sided guest commentaries, can add one more credit to his self-inflating resume: Clairvoyant! His slanderous and judgmental commentary about Herman Cain contains not one shred of proof, but questionable accusations and hearsay. Unless he can really see into the future, and know that these charges can be proven, he should probably be well advised to hold off his unfounded predictions."
"It's said, ‘History repeats itself.' I'd bet dollars to donuts the bones of Marx, Lenin and Trotsky are rattling with excitement over what's taking place in the U.S. of A presently. Instead of February 2012, it could be February 1917, (start of the Russian Revolution), all over again, U.S. style."
"The NBA players are proving what I have always known. They are selfish, spoiled, immature brats beyond comprehension."
"It looks like the NBA season is pretty much scrubbed. I think it is time for Steve Nash to take his liberal bleeding heart home to Canada. Most ‘former' NBA fans are indifferent. They really don't care. They think about the $5 million average annual salary that these petty, prima dona spoiled ballplayers receive. It is 100 times more than the $50,000 that most Americans would be happy to have for a year's toil."
"Cancellation of the NBA season should make the Occupy people ecstatic. It takes billions out of the pockets of million and billionaires and will be spent by the average Joe in more productive sectors of the economy. NBA season tickets can buy or make a down payment on some big ticket consumer items, home remodels, food items, vacations and clothing."
"They say Oscar Ramiro Ortega Hernandez has a mental issue; they got that right. Anyone who would shoot at the White House when Obama is out of town definitely has mental issues. What a waste of bullets."
"The Department of Justice (DOJ), who has sued Arizona over its SB 1070 and Alabama over its recent immigration enforcement measure, has now launched another outrageous lawsuit against South Carolina's immigration law. What's next, Utah's HB 497 (Arizona-style) ‘show me your papers' law? The U.S. Supreme Court could decide whether to hear Gov. Jan Brewer's appeal in the U.S. Department of Justice's lawsuit against SB 1070, even though Obama's Justice Department is urging the high court not to take it up."
"I would like to encourage the residents of Mesa to contact the Mesa Police Association and find out just how city manager Chris Brady, Mayor Scott Smith, and three of our city council members are working against our public safety workers. Chris Brady needs to be run out of town for the antics he has pulled that has hurt this city."
"I don't know what is more sickening about the Penn State child abuse scandal. The inaction of coach Joe Paterno and so many Penn State University employees or the alumnis' and the students' total absolution of any guilt on the part of their ‘Messiah,' JoePa. I think the investigation has just uncovered the tip of the iceberg of what went on for more than a decade."

First Venter:
Did you forget to mention the estimated more than 100,000 Iraqis who died and perhaps 500,000 more who were injured, the relaunching of civil war in Iraq, the destabilization of the region, and the near ruining of the Iraqi economy. And we were told that Iraqi oil revenues would pay for our invasion! Heck, now Iraq wants us to pay them! Shame on US.
Second Venter:
See First Venter and the above comment. Bill Clinton was smart enough to keep us out of Iraq and so was Bush 41. Heck, Cain doesn't even know where Libya is!
Third Venter:
And Second Venter, too. Cain has handled his "situation" with increduilty. Just ask your wives! Clinton may not have been any better, but he was already in office. Are you wishing to have another Clinton in office? And remember, Gingrich was throwing stones at Clinton while behaving poorly himselt. Neither Cain nor Gingrich have clean slates on this issue.
Fourth Venter:
An interesting thought. Are you predicting that the Occupy Wallstreet movement will bring down a money hungry, politically corupt 1%, something like the out of touch Romanovs? Perhaps you could be more specific. Or are you still finishing your cake?
Fifth Venter:
And just who helped them become this way, the fans or the owners? They do have unusual talents!
Sixth Venter:
You're right. Steve Nash is too much of a humanitarian to be an American.
Seventh Venter:
Having worked with the US Secret Service on VIP protection, I tell you that you are awfully close to being investigated. Better watch that "free speech" or yours. It can get you gailed right along side Oscar!
Eighth Venter:
"another outrageous lawsuit," you say! Are you in possession of valid arguments which justify SB1070? The argument that states who are of the opinion that they may trample all over the constitution because they are dissatisfied with Federal enforcement actions is not a valid argument. It's not much of an excuse, either. So what have you got, besides hot air, sounding brass and tinkling cymbols?
Ninth Venter:
"Chris Brady needs to be run out of town." you say. Why not tar and feather him? That's consistent with the tone of your argments!
Tenth Venter:
And that ice berg covers a lot more of the US than just Pennsylvania and College Station.

Second venter, so by your logic, conservatives make very good liars. Is this really something to brag about?

The Ninth Venter: "The Department of Justice (DOJ)...... has now launched another outrageous lawsuit against South Carolina's immigration law."
------------------------------------
Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC), Jeff Sessions (R-AL), and David Vitter (R-LA) have also stated it’s "another Department of Justice (DOJ) outrageous lawsuit" . . . that is federal funded with taxpayer dollars.
"It’s absurd that the Obama Administration, which has failed to enforce the nation’s immigration laws, is now stopping South Carolina, Alabama and Arizona from taking commonsense steps to protect citizens and uphold the law,” said Sen. Jim DeMint.
State immigration laws, like South Carolina S 20; Alabama HB 56; Arizona SB 1070; Oklahoma HB 1804; Missouri HB 390; Utah HB 497; Indiana SB 590 and HB 1402; and Georgia HB 87, to protect our citizens from criminals who are in the country illegally.

Statistics show that the Obama Administration has deported more illegals that did the Bush 43 Administration. Any one know the ratio of illegal criminal aliens to illegal but otherwise law abiding aliens? Remember, those who are criminals, like Willy Horton, come here because we are where the money is! The drug cartels come here for the exact same reasons. And nobody's immigration laws are effective against criminal activity bent on crossing the borders. Free enterprise is nearly unstopable! So let's quit fooling ourselves into thinking that border security and enforcment will solve the problem.

Just like "Open Border" Janet Napolitano's quote.

8th Venter - “Anyone who would shoot at the White House when Obama is out of town definitely has mental issues. What a waste of bullets."
With an unusual amount of vents that are posted on this day, the Tribune thought the 8th venter's vent was appropriate publish? Not sure who should be scolded more - the Tribune for publishing this, or the writer of this vent - either way, such a discourse is unacceptable, if not teetering on criminal.

@ Dale: Once again, you are WRONG. Where PROPER fences have been built, there is a marked decrease in the years following its construction. The border CAN BE made more secure, except liberals want it opened so more FOREIGN NATIONAL INVADING CRIMINALS can cross at their leisure....
