    Danny,

Are you lamenting or are you saying e-books are bad? Remember, I am reading your piece on my computer in an e-formated newspaper! I could stop of you want me to!

Mom-and-Pop ex-bookstore owners and thousands of independent ex-book store owners are popping the Korbel champagne (really sparkling wine to the wine lover...but....it's cheap and it's delicious).....all over America. Border's today and Barnes and Noble tomorrow.
I know though that there celebration is not for the loss of 10,000 jobs because they had suffered job loss when Border's forced there small bookstore to close.

I will be sad to see Border's go. I loved looking at British newspapers and magazines, Horse and Hound, Realites (now that's really going back....lol), Sporting Life and all the other class-act magazines that were no longer in my budget these past years to purchase (just to peek at). The cafe latte, vente grandes with whole milk were fabulous too and great pastries...a once a monthly treat.

Life goes on...not at rich as it use to be....whomever said that "Change is Great" (probably the Manchurian Candidate it the White House ....temporarily) hasn't a clue what "life" is all about.....[wink].
