The cost of living continues to rise, but government officials say Social Security checks (to more than 58 million Americans) in 2011 will not have a Cost of Living Adjustment.

All because, left-wing Liberal Democrats are for the spending of Social Security’s annual trust funds and surplus revenue, and even all Social Security (FICA) contribution payroll taxes (by employers and employees), to pay for more “Big Government” programs. Almost daily, we hear of another example of the Democrats in Washington, D.C., not hearing us, or if they do, not listening or taking us seriously. Yes, we are sick of the mess in Washington, and many senior voters on Social Security income are angry as they learn there will be no cost-of-living increase for the second straight year. Right now there are movements to “clean house” — fire House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, fire the career politicians, take the money out of politics, break the death grip the parties have, and hold our Congressional leaders accountable.

For the election there’s a lot of nation-wide campaigns to send citizen representatives to Washington instead of career politicians. We have a chance to “Cut Out Congressional Social Security Spending” all together. Let’s not miss this opportunity to get people who really want to reduce the size of government come Nov. 2. VOTE!
