Gilbert, Chandler high schools get longer day
MORE TEACHING: Science teacher Teresa Clark talks with students at Hamilton High School in Chandler in 2007. The Gilbert Unified School District is adding 25 minutes more per day of instructional time, and the Chandler Unified School District’s four high schools are adding about 15 minutes so that their districts comply with state officials’ new interpretation of the instructional time law.
