A guest at the Grand Rapids, Mich., "Antiques Roadshow" taping is thrilled to discover the market for this pastoral 1881 oil painting by noted Hudson River School artist Jasper Cropsey has exploded in the last three decades. The owner’s brother-in-law purchased the painting for $7,000 in the 1970s, and today, appraiser Debra Force values the piece at a stunning $300,000. The PBS show comes to Phoenix Aug. 1.
