Hudson Baylor will hold a grand opening ceremony at its new Recycling Education Center from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Hudson Baylor West Materials Recovery Facility, 1919 E. University Drive, Phoenix.

The center is designed to increase awareness of how recycling works and what happens to material once it leaves the curb. It incorporates hands-on exhibits that identify recyclable materials, how they are collected and processed and what they can become as they are remanufactured into new products.

The center will accommodate school groups and community organizations.

Hudson Baylor provides recycling services for Phoenix, Tempe, Avondale, Scottsdale, Mesa, Peoria and Gilbert.

For information about the center, contact Will Herzog at (602) 495-9929, ext. 204, or at wherzog@hudsonbaylor.com. To schedule a tour, contact Denette Dunn at (602) 495-9929, ext. 202, or at ddunn@hudsonbaylor.com.
