A Mesa teenager missing for more than two weeks has been found safe near the Mexican border.
Brittnee Plant, 13, was picked up at the Lukeville point of entry by agents with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
It is not known when she was found or whether she was alone. Police and Plant’s mother had said Plant might have been accompanied by a homeless man named Chris, who had tried before to lure her away.
Plant hadn’t been seen since Nov. 20, when her mother discovered her missing from their home. But she called her parents three times after that.
