The Gilbert Unified School District governing board Tuesday night increased new rental fees for outdoor district facilities.

Many of the fees for practice fields and stadiums were doubled to bring them inline with the market and to help recoup more of the costs to operate them – including energy expenses, assistant superintendent Clyde Dangerfield said before the meeting.
The governing board also approved a new technology plan for the district.
