A former Mesa police officer was sentenced Friday to six years in prison and lifetime probation for fondling three women while on duty.

Matt Driver, 35, was sentenced in Maricopa County Superior Court by Judge David Udall. He was convicted in October of five counts of sexual abuse.

Driver fondled the breasts of three women and touched the genitalia of two of them during pat-downs in 2004.

One of the victims was a minor when the crime occurred.
