A homemade bomb went off in a Mesa neighborhood on Monday night, just five days after another bomb damaged a home in the same neighborhood.

Youths are suspected of setting off a "dry-ice bomb" Monday somewhere in the neighborhood just southeast of Lindsay and Brown roads, said Mesa police spokeswoman Holly Hosac. She was not sure if this was related to last Wednesday's bombing, which broke a window and damaged the wall of a nearby house.

Dry-ice bombs are often made in plastic bottles with ice and water. They can cause big explosions and injuries, according to authorities.

No one was arrested in either incident. Police are looking for suspects in last week's explosion.
