PHOENIX - A California actor who has had several minor film and television roles has been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, authorities said.
Jonathan Simanton, 36, was staying with family Tuesday when he allegedly fondled his nephews' teenage babysitter in Scottsdale, police said.
Simanton admitted to touching the victim inappropriately and there were indications he was under the influence at the time of the incident, according to authorities.
He was being held Thursday in a Maricopa County jail on $4,500 bond.
The 3-foot-6 Simanton has appeared in "Surviving Christmas," "Epic Movie" and "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie."
