The Diamondbacks changed the name of Bank One Ballpark to Chase Field and will unveil the new title before tonight's game against San Diego.

Chase Bank bought out Bank One earlier this year, forcing the need to unload BOB which had been the name of the home home field for the Diamondbacks for seven seasons.

“We had a lot of great memories from Bank One Ballpark," club president Rich Dozer said.

Chase assumed Bank One's 30-year, $100 million commitment to the Diamondbacks in the merger.

Chase commits about $3 million annually on an escalating scale to the D-backs for title sponsorship of the park and other signage and advertising.
