The Gilbert Unified School District governing board is meeting in a closed session Tuesday night to interview for a new board secretary.
Barb Alden, the current executive coordinator for the board, is retiring at the end of the month after 30 years in the district.
The board is expected to hire a new board secretary soon, and might approve the appointment during its June 9 meeting.
