A man driving a white Toyota Camry died Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Lindsay and Pecos roads in Gilbert, fire officials said.

A Gilbert Fire Department spokesman said the Camry crossed the center line while traveling northbound about 8:25 a.m., and struck a gold minivan carrying six people.

One child from the minivan was taken by helicopter to the trauma center at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, and one adult from the same vehicle was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn hospital.

Four others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
