GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - There's no giveaway coming up at Cold Stone Creamery. The ice cream chain is the victim of an Internet prank.

Someone posted a message on the social-networking Web site Facebook.com saying Cold Stone Creamery stores plan to give out free samples for four hours on Monday.

All the Scottsdale-based ice cream seller's shops are putting signs on their doors and counters, warning of the scam.

Cold Stone Creamery spokeswoman Anne Christenson is hopeful that the hoax won't cause too much trouble for the company and maybe will even generate some buzz.
