One look at those cocked ears and that permanent five o’clock shadow, and there’s no doubt: Here’s another Clooney that will melt hearts.

A handsome shepherd/shar-pei mix, 4-year-old Clooney has a good repertoire of basic obedience skills. He’s housebroken, and he knows how to sit, stay and lie down. On top of that, Clooney is comfortable using a doggy door and walks nicely on a leash.
For now, Clooney lives in a foster home, where his temporary family reports that his favorite activites are cuddling with humans and going on walks. He gets along well with dogs (he lives with three of them now) and cats, but potential owners with children should take note: Clooney likes children, but he can get wound up during play time. He’s only excited, but his rough-and-tumble play style (and his medium size) is probably too much for small kids. For that reason, he should go to home with children ages 10-12, or older.
Clooney’s foster family can provide many more details on his personality and behavior. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting him, call Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary in Gilbert at (480) 497-8296, or visit them at www.azfriends.org.
