A Scottsdale man was hospitalized with serious injuries after he was stabbed by another man at an apartment complex early Thursday.

The injured man, 31, whose name was not released, was stabbed in the stomach with an unknown weapon about 4:30 a.m. during an altercation at the Cortesian Apartments, 7749 E. Camelback Road, according to police.

He underwent surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn hospital, and his condition was unknown as of late Thursday.

The man accused of stabbing him remained at large. He is described as white, in his early 20s, about 6-foot-2 with a thin build.
