Playtime with Thomas the Tank Engine at Teacher’s Treasure Trove in Gilbert combines two things that kids love – playing with Thomas trains and with other kids – and makes your life easy by having extended drop-in hours (and less expensive – your kids can enjoy all the latest Thomas stuff without you having to buy it!)

Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., you are welcome to bring your kids. The train table sits up at the front of the store and includes hundreds of Thomas toys including trains, tracks, buildings, bridges and more. Your kids will be able to make and take apart different trains and run them over the extensive tracks.

And playtime can be fun for Mom, too. Teacher’s Treasure Trove offers educational materials, toys, games and craft supplies. Right near the train table are keepsake craft kits that you can make with your kids: glass plates you can paint; tiles that you can frame with your child’s handprints; and kid-sized furniture that you can decorate and use.

And when your kids are reluctant to leave (that is putting it mildly), you may want to consider picking up a Thomas the Tank Engine video. The store offers a wide selection of the Thomas movies.

Teacher’s Treasure Trove is a family-owned store with a friendly and helpful staff that always makes you and your children feel welcome. Cost for the playtime is one item of canned food which is donated to Open Arms Food Bank in Gilbert.
