A Mesa teenager is dead following a single-car crash this morning.
Miguel Vieyra, 18, was killed shortly before 5:30 a.m. when he lost control of his 1995 Nissan Maxima at Mesa and University drives. Mesa police said the vehicle skidded through the intersection to the southeast corner, where it struck an irrigation box on the driver’s side.
