A man robbed a bank in a Chandler supermarket over the weekend.
Around 1:15 p.m. Saturday, the suspect entered the Basha’s at 1920 W. Chandler Blvd. and approached a teller at the Chase bank. He passed a note but no weapon was seen, police spokesman Detective David Ramer said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, standing 6-feet-4-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a green plaid shirt, a green “fisherman” hat, black knee-length shorts and black tennis shoes.
The bank did have video surveillance cameras, Ramer said, but footage was not immediately available.
