Mike Ramirez of Phoenix considers himself lucky. More than a million times over.

On Friday, Ramirez hit a $1,346,971 Wheel of Fortune MegaJackpot on a $1 slot machine at Casino Arizona, at Loop 101 and McKellips Road.

His win marks the largest to date this year at Casino Arizona on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Ramirez, an interior designer installer, said he is a regular visitor to the casino.

After inserting $100 into the winning machine, Ramirez won the top progressive prize. Ramirez said he was drawn to the winning machine because of its color and theme.

“I am very patriotic and like the red, white and blue of the Wheel of Fortune,” he said in a statement.
