A woman suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries Monday night in north Scottsdale traffic collision.

Police said the woman was thrown from a vehicle when it collided with another vehicle turning into the Pima Crossing shopping center.

The woman, whose name was not available, was a passenger in a Bentley traveling eastbound on Shea Boulevard. The vehicle was driven by a man who tried to turn into the shopping center when the car was struck by a four-door Mitsubishi.

The driver of the Mitsubishi also suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police said the driver of the Bentley was uninjured.

Both the woman in the Bentley and the driver of the Mitsubishi were taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn hospital.

Westbound traffic on Shea was diverted through the parking lot of Pima Crossing while officers investigated the crash.

It is not known whether anyone was wearing their seatbelts or if alcohol was a factor in the crash, police said.
