Five people were hospitalized following a two-car collision in Gilbert this morning.
The injuries are non-life threatening, Gilbert Fire Department Captain Rob Duggan said.
The crash at Queen Creek and Greenfield Roads occurred around 10:45 a.m. when a 37-year-old man driving a Toyota Camry t-boned a Pontiac Firebird occupied by four teens.
The 17-year-old man driving the Firebird was flown to Scottsdale Osborn hospital, and the three 15-year-old female passengers were transported by ground to various medical facilities.
The Camry’s driver was also transported by ground to a medical facility.
