A 56-year-old driver was killed Thursday when she was struck by a teen in a sport utility vehicle while crossing Power Road.
Police haven’t released the names of either driver.
At 2:01 p.m., the unidentified woman was crossing Power at Jensen Street on a red light as a Dodge Durango, driven by a 17-year-old girl, was headed north on a green light, said police spokeswoman Holly Hosac.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
No citations were issued. Police don’t believe impairment or speeding were factors in the wreck.
