Starting Monday, Valley theatergoers can pick which Broadway shows they want to see the same way they build a submarine sandwich at Subway restaurants.
ASU Gammage is offering a sampler-pack of tickets good for any four shows in its new season. Patrons may pick the shows, the number of tickets and the location of their seats — giving them more flexibility than a traditional seasonlong subscription and access to some shows well before single tickets go on sale at the box office.
The deal also marks the first opportunity to buy tickets to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera,” which returns Oct. 28 to the Tempe venue.
Patrons may choose any four of the following shows to build their subscription package:
“Legally Blonde the Musical” (Sept. 22-27, 2009)
“Phantom of the Opera” (Oct. 28-Nov. 22, 2009)
“Little House on the Prairie” (Dec. 8-13, 2009)
“Annie” (Dec. 29, 2009-Jan. 3, 2010)
“August: Osage County” (Jan. 5-10, 2010)
“Mary Poppins” (Feb. 11-28, 2010)
“Avenue Q” (March 9-14, 2010)
“Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps” (April 20-25, 2010)
“In the Heights” (June 15-20, 2010)
“Jesus Christ Superstar” (April 6-11, 2010)
Single tickets start at $15.35. Mini-subscribers must buy at least one ticket to four different shows. For details, performance dates, times and prices, or to buy a mini-subscription, call (480) 965-3434 or visit www.asugammage.com/mini.
