Phoenix police attempt to ID assault victim

Phoenix police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who remains hospitalized, but has been unable to communicate with authorities.

The unidentified man was punched in the face at the bus stop at Central Avenue and Vineyard Road on Oct. 29 about 9 a.m., according to information from police.

The man was hospitalized, but was unresponsive until Thursday, according to police.

Now, the man is conscious but is unable to communicate.
