Here are some energy conservation tips.
How to conserve
The Valley’s major utility providers urge customers to conserve power today, especially between 3 and 7 p.m. During this time, they ask that customers:
• Don’t use major appliances, such as washers, dryers, dishwashers or ovens.
• Turn air conditioners up, to 82 degrees or warmer.
• Turn off lights that aren’t needed
