Three families were displaced Tuesday after a fire destroyed a Mesa apartment.
No one was injured in the 6:30 a.m. blaze, said Deputy Chief Mike Dunn, Mesa fire spokesman.
A family of six lost its apartment to the blaze and their neighbors on both sides lost electricity but suffered no fire damage, Dunn said.
Block wall construction at Casa Mesa Estates, 1251 S. Mesa Drive helped stop the fire from spreading.
The fire is still under investigation.
