A kitchen fire burned part of Scottsdale eatery Bloom late Friday night, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the flue of a wood-burning pizza oven at 8877 N. Scottsdale Road. No injuries were reported in the restaurant, Scottsdale fire spokeswoman Lori Schmidt said.

The restaurant re-opened Saturday without incident.

On the Bloom Web site, the fare is described as “new American cuisine with a seasonally changing menu … a beautiful blend of classic American favorites with influences from European and Asian cuisines.”

Bloom has a sister restaurant named Wildflower.
