Maricopa County sheriff’s investigators have found surveillance camera footage tied to an arson fire that destroyed 10 houses under construction Tuesday in Mesa.
“There is some evidentiary value there,” said Capt. Paul Chagolla, a sheriff’s office spokesman.
Investigators also found footprints, tire tracks and burn patterns that show a fuel was used to start the fire.
The blaze came five days after one that destroyed three houses under construction at the same subdivision at 96th Street and Broadway Road in unincorporated east Mesa.
Chagolla said no suspects have been targeted but investigators are working on some leads.
The fire on July 5 happened five hours after a blaze at a construction site claimed one home and damaged two others at Higley Road and Loop 202’s Santan Freeway in Gilbert.
