Early voting begins today for the primary legislative elections.
Qualified residents have until Aug. 4 to register to vote in the Sept. 2 primary election.
And residents have until Oct. 6 to register for the Nov. 4 general election, which also includes the race for president. Each legislative district has one open Senate and two open House seats.
