PRESCOTT, Ariz. - A 14-year-old Arizona girl has been arrested on suspicion of hitting another teen over the head with a folding chair in an incident that was posted on the Internet.

The video appears to show the 14-year-old approach the other girl from behind while raising the chair, and then slam it over her head. The chair folds back up after the impact, and the other girl falls to the floor unconscious.

The incident occurred Thursday at Achieve Academy Charter School in Prescott Valley, about 75 miles north of Phoenix, and was recorded by another student with a cell phone camera.

The 14-year-old, whose name was not released, was in custody at the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and interference with an educational institution.

The condition of the 13-year-old victim was unclear.

Prescott Valley police downloaded the video and will use it as evidence, said Cmdr. P.J. Janik.

Achieve Academy Principal John Nixon said the incident is being investigated. He had no further comment.
