Mesa police are looking for a man who grabbed a 14-year-old girl Sunday as she walked with a friend about 8:20 p.m. at 1015 S. Val Vista Drive.
According to a police summary, the girls were on the east side of the street walking south when a Hispanic man passed them in the opposite direction. He is described as approximately 22 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, unshaven, black spiked hair, wearing a dark blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
He turned around and began following the girls before he approached the victim and grabbed her from behind, rubbing his face against hers.
The girl was able to break free, and she and her friend ran to a nearby business.
The incident happened on the same day as another case at an east Mesa Wal-Mart.
In that case, Mesa police arrested 27-year-old Nathan Graham Rouse on suspicion of grabbing two girls who were at the store at 1606 S. Signal Butte Road.
