Tempe police said Tuesday they had arrested a man suspected in a series of sexual assaults. Jerimiah F. Huffman, 22, was taken into custody early Sunday after he was seen looking into windows of several homes near where he lives, in the 100 block of East Riviera Drive, police said.
During questioning, Huffman confessed to his involvement in three other cases under investigation. In each case, police said, Huffman entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked or unsecured door or window.
In two instances, Huffman touched female victims while they were asleep, and in one case he stole money before fleeing. All of the victims were women, and all of the incidents occurred at night while the victims slept.
