Mesa police are asking for the public’s help in arresting two men who they said brazenly stole an estimated $9,000 in cigarettes from two Circle K stores Dec. 29.
According to Mesa police, the men walked into the convenience stores between midnight and 6 a.m. and went behind the counter to load a trash bag full of the cigarettes.
The stores are located a mile apart at the intersections of Main Street and Val Vista Drive and Broadway Road and Val Vista Drive.
The men were seen leaving one of the thefts in a late 90s, Dodge Dakota pickup truck.
The first man is described as black, in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing about 200 pounds.
The other man is described as black, in his 30s or 40s, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds.
