A 6-year-old Tempe girl died Saturday in California, one day after the sport utility vehicle she was riding in rolled over, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Aimee Sorm was pronounced dead at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley at 3:37 a.m. The crash occurred on Friday at 9:10 p.m on westbound Interstate 10 west of Hayfield Road in Indio.
Authorities said the child was properly restrained in the SUV and wasn’t ejected. Additional information was not immediately available.
