Two bank robbers from Queen Creek were sentenced to prison on Monday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix.

Judge James Teilborg sentenced Lee Jay Brimmer, 32, to 10 years in prison and Lauren Ashley Lindsay, 25, to 5 1/4 years behind bars.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Arizona, the pair robbed four banks from July 2008 until November.

Lindsay would give notes to the tellers demanding money and making reference to Brimmer and guns they had.

A tipster informed authorities after recognizing the pair from a press release that Wells Fargo issued in November.

They were arrested on Nov. 20 and pleaded guilty in April.
