Many Valley roads and streets remain closed or restricted due to Thursday’s severe winter storm. 

Many Valley roads and streets remain closed or restricted due to Thursday’s severe winter storm. Highways throughout the state also remain closed with just a few reopening.

As of about 2:30 pm., this is the most current list of Valley closures and restrictions from area public safety officials and municipalities. For more updated information, call the Arizona Department of Transportation's Traveler Information Service, 511.

Riggs Road at Sonoqui Wash

Gantzel Road north of Empire Boulevard

Gantzel Road and Pecan Creek subdivision

Hunt Highway and Walker Granite Road

Gary Road between Judd Road and Magma Road

Skyline Road between Judy's Road and Felix Road

Schnepf Road between Ocotillo Road and Laredo Ranch

Hunt Highway Copper Basin Road to Arizona Farms Road

Magma Road between Superstition Views Drive and Stardust Drive

Geronimo Road north of 10th Avenue

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials announced a number of openings of highways in the state, but said several closures and restrictions remain.

OPENINGS:

State Route 303 from Thomas to Northern

Northbound Interstate 17 at New River

State Route 77 from Globe to Winkleman.

CLOSED:

Eastbound Interstate 40 from the U.S. 93 south junction east of Kingman

Westbound Interstate 40 from Winslow

Northbound Interstate 17 at the Sedona exit

Southbound Interstate 17 at Flagstaff

State Route 260 West, eastbound from Camp Verde

State Route 260 East, both directions from Payson to Heber

Northbound state Route 87 Beeline Highway at Bush Highway

Southbound state Route 87 at state Route 188

Offroad areas along the Beeline Highway

U.S. 60, both directions from Globe to Show Low

U.S. 60, just west of the Salt River Canyon

US 60 closed, both directions from state Route 73 junction at Whiteriver to Show Low.
