A motorcyclist killed in a collision in Scottsdale has been identified as a Paradise Valley man.
Ben Brooks, 67, died Saturday after his Harley Davidson was rear-ended by a Nissan Altima at Doubletree Ranch and Scottsdale roads.
Brooks, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle and later pronounced dead at Healthcare Osborn hospital, fire officials said.
The Altima’s driver, 70-year-old Doris Howard of Phoenix, did not seem to be impaired, police said, although her blood was drawn for testing,
The outcome of the investigation will determine whether there are charges, police said.
