A 31-year-old Chandler man died Saturday when he was involved in a two-vehicle wreck near Lindsay Road and the Loop 202 San Tan Freeway underpass in Gilbert.

Robert Plumber died after the Toyota Corolla he was driving north on Lindsay Road about 7:53 a.m. crossed the center line and collided with a southbound minivan, said police spokesman Lt. Eric Shuhandler on Monday.

The minivan was driven by Antonio Zupic, 37, of Gilbert. Also in the van were five family members.

Patricia Zupic, 34, and four children ages 21 months, 8 years, 6 years and 9 years were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
