A suspect has been arrested in a July 4 incident in which a man exposed himself and masturbated on a bus in Phoenix.

Police said adults on the bus confronted the suspect, Patrick Frame, 46, but he got away before police arrived at 2600 E. Cactus Road. Transit officers, civilians and detectives reviewed video of the incident.

On Wednesday, police went to the transit center at Paradise Valley Mall, where they located a man who looked like the person in the video. They brought him to police headquarters for an interview. Police found probable cause to arrest Frame, who was booked into Fourth Avenue Street Jail in Phoenix on two felony counts of indecent exposure, two felony counts of public sexual indecency, one count of misdemeanor indecent exposure and one count of public sexual indecency.

Police said Frame is not a registered sex offender. They aren't aware of previous similar incidents but are reviewing other cases and speaking with officials in other cities involved in the transit system to make them aware of the arrest.
