Mesa police are looking for a teenager who went missing from her home almost two weeks ago and might be in danger.
Thirteen-year-old Brittnee M. Plant was reported missing from her home by her mother on Nov. 20.
Plant’s mother, Lesa Stevens, stated she and her daughter were having “teen-related” problems prior to Plant’s disappearance, and the police report initially claimed that Plant was a runaway.
After a call from her daughter on Nov. 26, Stevens felt the situation was more than just a runaway, and her daughter might be in danger.
In the phone call, Stevens reported Plant told her she loved her, but hung up before any questions could be asked.
Plant is described as white with brown hair and eyes, standing 5-foot-1 and weighing 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt with writing on it, black and red shoes, and a heart necklace.
Police believe she is with a man named Chris, but no other information about him is available.
Mesa police urges anyone with information on Brittnee Plant to call (480) 644 – 2211.
