A 7-month-old in a stroller was struck by a car Monday morning near Power and Guadalupe roads in Mesa.

The baby was transported by helicopter to Maricopa Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision happened near Liberty Arts Academy, a Mesa charter school, when students were being dropped off for the start of the school day.
