Baby struck by car near Mesa school
The mother of a 7-month-old infant who was hit while riding in a
stroller speaks with a Gilbert firefighter and sheriff's office
deputy. The stroller was struck by a car Monday morning near Power
and Guadalupe roads in Mesa. The baby was transported by helicopter
to Maricopa Medical Center.

A 7-month-old in a stroller was struck by a car Monday morning
near Power and Guadalupe roads in Mesa.
The baby was transported by helicopter to Maricopa Medical
Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a
spokesperson for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision happened near Liberty Arts Academy, a Mesa charter
school, when students were being dropped off for the start of the
school day.
