OCOTILLO, Calif. - A magnitude-3.4 earthquake has jolted the California-Mexico border but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Preliminary information from the U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck at 7:52 a.m. Thursday. It was centered 85 miles southwest of Yuma, near Ocotillo and 30 miles west of El Centro.
El Centro police report no damage or injuries.
A 4.6-magnitude quake hit the same general area last Friday.
