Pinal sheriff's office searching for killer

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a man who shot and killed a San Tan Valley man Thursday.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a man who shot and killed a San Tan Valley man Aug. 27.

Daniel Joseph Neymeyer, 41, was shot in the head after he answered the door of his home at 9:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Olivine Street, Lt. Tamatha Villar, a Sheriff's spokeswoman, said.

Villar said detectives believe Neymeyer knew his killer, and the shooting was not random.

So far, detectives have no suspects.

None of the four other people in the home saw the gunman or recognized his voice. No one saw any cars leave.
