With her new single “Tattoo,” released to radio Monday, Jordin Sparks is the latest “American Idol” winner to try to duplicate the pop success attained by initial champ Kelly Clarkson (while avoiding the flameout suffered by season-five winner Taylor Hicks). As the lead single on her forthcoming debut CD, “Tattoo” gets Sparks off to a good start.
