I find it incredible that we look down our noses at Federal spending until we want it!

The damage has been done and the horse has long ago left the barn. What in the world will Senate Committee investigations do, other that provide political theater or political cover for the guilty. The federal government should NOT be in the business of giving taxpayer money away to any of these nonsensical activities. Why do we continue to send our hard-earned tax cash advance to Washington, only to have some bureaucrat stupidly decide on how to dole them back to their favorite project (after the inefficiency and corruption have skimmed off the cream), and then investigate (on taxpayer dollars) who's guilty (only to find no one guilty). Washington has turned into a giant charade and we, taxpayers, continue to fund this nonsense.
