  NO one is looking at the unintended consequences of passing the Dream Act. No matter what age you set (12 and 14 have been discussed) illegal parents will rush to bring their children across the border before they reach that age. I am NOT looking forward to having the Arizona desert littered with the dead bodies of small children. It is bad enough when adults choose to break the law and die as a result of that poor choice, but children have other people making those choices for them. The "Dream Act" is cruel to children.

  They are just as illegal as their parents are. They break the law and then we are to reward them by giving them in-state tuition and citizenship in return? No way! The real lesson they should have learned is not to break ANY law in America, including entering illegally. It should be a requirement that they leave our school system after high school. We've paid their way long enough; it's time to return home. Way too many Americans that are unemployed to give them a pathway to our jobs, too. Enough already!

If America opened its borders to all those who wish to live here, hundreds of millions of people would come here. That would, of course, mean the end of the United States economically and culturally...Yes, many of you are also a blessing. Many of you take care of our children and our homes. Others of you prepare our food and do other work that is essential to our society. We know that. As individuals, the great majority of you are hardworking, responsible, decent people.
  But none of that answers the question: How many people can this country allow into it? The moment you have to answer that question is the moment you realize that Americans' worries about illegal immigration have nothing to do with "racism" or any negative feeling toward Hispanics.
  Those who tell you it is racism or xenophobia are lying about their fellow Americans for political or ideological reasons.   Democrats will act as your defenders by telling you that opposition to your presence here is race-based. There is no truth to that. As you probably know in your hearts, you have come to the least racist place on earth. The vast majority of us could not care less if your name is Gonzalez or Jones. That's why the chances are 50-50 that the child of Hispanic immigrants will end up marrying a non-Hispanic American.
  One more thing: Many of you desire to return to your homelands. This is understandable, as many of you did not come here in order to become American but in order to earn the money that would allow you to afford to return home and lead a better life there. But as understandable as that is on an individual level, you must understand that that having millions of people in our midst who feel no bond to our country and who do not want to become one of us is a serious problem. You would feel the same about people who came to your countries to make money and use your country's medical, social, educational and other services paid for by the people of your country. So, the truth is, in fact, simple: If you were an American, you would want to stop illegal immigration, and if most of us were you, we would do what you did to get into America. Neither of us is bad. You care about your family. We care about our country"

  Anyone that isn't a CITIZEN OF THE USA should not be given ANY TIME to voice their opinion about what our country should and should not be doing. YOU ARE NOT A CITIZEN, SO YOU SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN ANY VOICE!!!!! You want change? GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, AND MAKE A CHANGE THERE!!!!! However, you should be arrested and deported for being the criminals you are.

  To all ILLEGAL ALIEN STUDENTS, et al: While you were getting your education, where you doing it for your own good, or for the good of the USA? While you were getting your education, did you pay tuition based on the truth? I.E., since you aren't a citizen, those students pay more for either being out of state or out of country students.

  I'd have more respect for a person that told the truth about themselves AS SOON as they found out they were ILLEGAL ALIENS. I have NO RESPECT for those that keep silent until AFTER they've stolen their education from US CITIZENS. CRIMINALS should not be rewarded with an education or citizen for their crimes. I think that ANY PERSON that knowingly gets an education under FALSE PRETENSES should not be permitted to receive a degree. And if one was given, it should also be taken away.

  One of the requirements to become a citizen of the USA is that the person must have a "Good Moral Character". Keeping quiet about your LEGAL STATUS so that you can receive an education paid for by CITIZENS OF THE USA, and continuing to do the same in order to get a degree isn't a "Good Moral" characteristic IMHO....

  Almost forgot to mention. If this is allowed, there would be an INCREASE in ILLEGAL ALIENS crossing! The parents may not get citizenship, by if they knew their kids would, there would be NO END to ILLEGAL ALIENS crossing our borders....
