Think twice before tossing that store receipt. A poll conducted by Angie’s List, an online consumer-driven ratings service, said 64 percent of respondents reported having diffi culty making returns without receipts.

The poll also said that 12 percent of participants don’t even attempt returning purchases just to avoid the hassle.

SMOOTHIE STORE A Tropical Smoothie Cafe will open in January at the northeast corner of Priest Drive and Warner Road in Tempe. The restaurant serves fruit smoothies, wraps, sandwiches and salads.

MEXICAN EATERY

Chandler residents got a new Kokopelli Fresh Mexican Grill at 4015 S. Arizona Ave.

The restaurant, which is owned by the Dallas-based Great American Food Chain, is part of a roll-out of 70 franchised restaurants during the next three years, fi ve of which will be in Arizona.

DO-IT-YOURSELF FOOD

Super Suppers, a do-it-yourself meal preparation service, opened a location in Ahwatukee Foothills at 4025 E. Chandler Blvd.

The service allows customers to make one-month supplies of meals choosing from 12 menu options.

The company provides the recipes, ingredients, instructions and cleanup.

ITALIAN EATERY

Dolce Luna Italian Café has opened in Ahwatukee Foothills at 4647 E. Chandler Blvd. The menu includes Italian gelato, Belgian waffl es, paninis, crepes, teas, coffee and espresso.
