Two Mesa attractions and another seven from Tempe were named recently as part of AAA’s “Best of Arizona” list.
In commemoration of Arizona’s 100th year of statehood, AAA asked residents to share their favorite things to do and see in Arizona, with the list recently revealed during a four-part series in the AAA Arizona-produced magazine Highroads.
From Mesa, Golfland Sunsplash and Organ Stop Pizza were selected by readers; from Tempe, Big Surf, Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium at Arizona State University, Mill Avenue, My Nana’s Best Tasting Salsa Challenge, Tempe Marketplace, and Tempe Town Lake were selected.
